I am an illustrator based in Padua.

I started drawing before I learned how to write — and I have never stopped. My work always begins on paper: graphite pencils, ink, and sheets with weight and texture.

Photoshop comes into play more like a darkroom than a drawing table: to develop, correct the light, and prepare for print.

The texture of the original paper remains visible in the piece.

I have a soft spot for ink line work, portraits that require time, and illustrations that tell something even without a caption.
